How many dogs do you allow?
Four dogs is the most we will ever accept at one time.
Do you accept dogs of all ages?
Yes! Puppies & seniors will have additional fees.
How does the Cottage work?
Guests will have 24/7 access to The Cottage, a climate controlled guest house for them to enjoy. The Cottage has 3 stalls where dogs can rest & sleep overnight. They can spend as much or as little time as they like inside the Cottage. We will bring guests into the house throughout the day if they want to be inside with the family. Overnight sleeping will take place in the cottage. The Cottage will have a smoke detector as well as a 'baby monitor' so that we can keep all our guests safe at all times. The Cottage will have multiple dog doors for guests to enter their area of the Cottage for rest and feeding times. We like to think of The Cottage as a large, climate-controlled dog house.
What vaccines do you require?
Our guests must be current on rabies and be on flea & tick prevention.
Do you accept dogs that are not potty trained?
Yes! We just need to know ahead of time to setup The Cottage to accommodate.
What behavior issues are you willing to accept?
Dogs that are extremely shy around children, aggressive towards children, dogs that have severe resource guarding behavior and dogs who need to be kept apart from other dogs are not a good fit for The Canine Cottage.
